Winter Fear 05:28
the day slips away, it reaches its close i watch as my crooked hands unfold now i'm awake, my eyes sparkle red i watch as my good friends lose their heads is it all downhill from here? does my happiness dissipate with years? so i'll close my eyes as i descend when i know that i'm close to the end and my winter fear is creeping back again looking around i'm not in my hometown i'll never go back to the earth in that cold car again and it's strange that i find that cold look in your eye the light there has suddenly died, and the two black holes arrive is it all downhill from here? does my happiness dissipate with years? so i'll close my eyes as i descend when i know that i'm close to the end and my winter fear is creeping back again i'm a simple boy, with simple needs, i let the tide blow me over i'm simple child, with simple needs, i can't wait till i grow older i'm a dying man, with endless needs, i put a hole inside my mind cause now i look for simple things, they're just so hard to find

lately i find there's a black hole in my mind heart broken and my eyes half blind show me a sign follow me down where the river bends i'm found heart working overtime when you fall i get high i've lost my mind floating through the day it's wasting me away i found a light and it won't be long till i'm alright i'll get around to it one of these days i will erase you and the memories you made they take up space in my brain i'd be okay if i was suddenly swept away wiped from the face of the earth for a day i'm sick of this place climbing through the light, i think i've lost my sense of time i can see your face above the city as i climb did you ever think to leave me more than scraps behind? i've lost my mind floating through the day it's wasting me away i found a light and it won't be long till i'm alright i've lost my mind floating through the day it's wasting me away i found a light
3.
did i disappoint you? what was that you tried to say? don't let this destroy you don't let your faith decay drifting in and out of sleep and out of time what would i be without you? riding on this lonesome train into the night and fade away but i won't feel ashamed did i disappoint you? are you falling out from grace? waking up to find that everything has changed and i'm sorry that i doubted you riding on this lonesome train into the night and fade away but i won't feel ashamed
4.
motion yearns for your movement working hands stuck at the seams fingertips itching with the want to build what i see weak man, manifests ego fooling himself he'll succeed in a man through the heart we are the life of a seed grown up, the forest of beings i will handle but i won't cut loose, slowly be lost in the maelstrom the grey glow a strong wind blows and time burns away calloused hands challenged by the depth the depth of the freed and i'm floating on a dream that's so much closer than it seems i am two ragged claws on the floor of a silent sea and i'm stuck where i am standing
5.
Slow Motion 04:43
wading through the dirty water didn't know what path to take his face looked back in bitter anger all in an offhand way i'm moving in slow motion and i didn't mean to harm you again i'm screaming into silence again i didn't mean to harm you i only meant to please you take my hand call me a stranger i was raised in an offhand way his face looked back in sweet acceptance today is a perfect day i'm moving in slow motion and i didn't mean to harm you again i'm screaming into silence again i didn't mean to harm you i only meant to please you
